25 University PhD Studentships in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

To celebrate the University's research successes, the University of Hull is offering 25PhD Studentships through the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.  The Law School wishes to invite potential applicants with an interest in the following areas:

•    Civil liberties and human rights
•    European Law (Public and Private)
•    Experts and the Law
•    International Law
•    Law of the Sea
•    Mediation and Conflict Resolution
•    The Law of Mortgage
•    Trade and Commercial Law

Applications are sought from suitably-qualified people wishing to pursue research leading to PhD status under the supervision of leading researchers.Each full-time UK/EU PhD Scholarship will include fees at the ‘home/EU' student rate and maintenance (£13,590 in 2012/13) for three years, depending  on satisfactory progress. The International PhD Fee bursaries will cover full tuition fees for full-time overseas students for three years, depending on satisfactory progress.
