Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the Internal Medicine Symposium for Trainees and Trainers, which will take place in the II Department of Medicine JUMC, ul. Skawińska 8, Kraków, on October 14, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This event is a result of collaboration between the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO, USA and Jagiellonian University Medical College in Kraków. Our half-day symposium will containlectures delivered in English by four outstanding speakers from the USA, who are experts in internal medicine and medical education.
This event aims to present in an accessible form the most practical, up-to-date knowledge helpful in medical training. The presentations will also provide an opportunity to learn about postgraduate medical education in internal diseases in the USA, about its goals and methods.
The array of issues analyzed during the lectures will undoubtedly benefit an audience of trainers in internal medicine or subspecialties, residents and fellows specializing in internal medicine disciplines and senior medical students (the last two years of medical studies).

The participation in the Symposium is free of charge, however the number of seats in the conference hall is limited.
