DWM UJ informuje o możliwości ubiegania się o stypendium na International Summer Schools na Uniwersytecie w Cambridge (6.07-22.08.2014)

O stypendium mogą ubiegać się studenci UJ wszystkich kierunków studiów stacjonarnych i niestacjonarnych będących obecnie na:

- I roku studiów magisterskich uzupełniających,

- IV roku studiów jednolitych magisterskich,

- I roku studiów doktoranckich,

- posiadający obywatelstwo polskie lub Kartę Polaka.

Przyznane stypendium obejmuje koszt wybranego kursu (1 lub 2 tygodniowego), opłatę rejestracyjną, opłatę za oceną 1-2 wypracowania (evaluation fee)  oraz zakwaterowanie (nie obejmuje kosztów podróży).

Wymagania:

– średnia ważona ocen z wszystkich lat studiów powyżej 4.0 –znajomość języka angielskiego (opis poniżej)

Language requirements for interdisciplinary and specialist programmes All teaching for the Summer Schools is in English. Applicants must satisfy themselves and the organisers of the Summer Schools that their English is of a standard high enough for them to be able to understand and follow arguments presented in written and spoken English at university level. We require all applicants whose first language is not English (except those opting to do EAP or IELTS, please see below) to have one of the following test results:

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is the University’s preferred test. Details can be obtained from local British Council offices. The minimum requirement is an overall band score of 6.5 with not less than 6.5 in each element, achieved in the same sitting and no more than two years before the start of the programme.

In the TOEFL internet-based Test (iBT), the minimum requirement is an overall score of 100, with a minimum score of 25 in each element. Those who opt for the paper-based TOEFL test (PBT), rather than the internet-based test, must take the Test of Written English (TWE) at the same time. A paper-based TOEFL score without the TWE is not acceptable. The minimum requirement is 600 in the paper-based TOEFL test with 5.0 in the TWE. The minimum requirements must be achieved in the same sitting and no more than two years before the start of the programme. Our institution code for TOEFL is 7207.

Students with Cambridge CAE are required to achieve grade C or above. You need to include original or certified copies of these results with your application form. Without these documents, we will not be able to process your application. Language requirements for EAP This programme is for second language students already proficient in English who wish to develop their language skills. It is aimed at students who already hold an overall band score of 6.0-6.5. The minimum requirement for admission to the programme is an overall band score of 6.0 with not less than 6.0 in speaking, listening, writing and reading, achieved in the same sitting and no more than two years before the start of the programme.

Ubiegający się o stypendium winni złożyć następujące dokumenty:

– podanie skierowane do DWM w języku polskim – zaświadczenie o średniej ocen, wystawione przez Instytut/Wydział oraz kserokopie dyplomów ukończonych studiów; doktoranci składają tylko kserokopie dyplomu magisterskiego z wynikiem co najmniej ‘dobry’

– oryginał lub poświadczoną kopię certyfikatu językowego

– wypełnioną ‘Application Form’ na wybraną szkołę letnią       (www.ice.cam.ac.uk/courses/summer-schools)

(należy wypełnić formularz, bez ostatniej części strony 4 - Payment details; w części  Payment na str 4 - należy wpisać koszty z wybranego kursu, zakwaterowania i ewentualnie koszt oceny)
