We would like to remind about ongoing registration for the Coimbra Group Three Minute Thesis Competition - Jagiellonian University. We kindly invite you to register your participation by January 5, 2024.

The Competition involves presenting in English your doctoral research project in a three-minute oral presentation using one static slide only to the audience who are non-specialists in your discipline.  

The Jagiellonian University, a member of the international Coimbra Group network, is now organizing the fifth edition of this Competition. For the first three winners, the University offers attractive prizes, including research stays at the universities affiliated with the Coimbra Group. The first-place winner will represent the Jagiellonian at the 3 MT Grand Final during Coimbra Group General Assembly, which will be held in Turku, Finland in June 2024.  

The CG-3MT– Jagiellonian University Competition has two stages:  

Stage I - February 2nd 2024: Jagiellonian University Jury selects up to 10 Speakers  

Stage II - March 7th 2024: the Jury selects three winners out of the 10 Speakers  

 

Regulations for the competitions organized at universities around the world under the common name 3 Minute Thesis (3MT®) were first developed at the University of Queensland, Australia in 2008.
