Results of the 4_2020 edition Competition for funding PhD students' activities

In the 4_2020 edition combined with the second special edition of the Competition for the Funding of PhD Students' Activities, 96 applications were submitted, 84 of which were approved and 12 applications were rejected. Co-financing was granted in the total amount of PLN 38 734.00.

The call for proposals ended on September 16, 2020.

Due to the prolonged epidemic situation and the related restrictions, which hinder or prevent the activities of doctoral students outside Poland, the Doctoral Students' Society of the Jagiellonian University has decided to re-finance the purchase of scientific literature and to finance linguistic corrections of articles for journals from the list of scientific journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as accepting applications only in electronic form.

When determining the final amount of funding for the application of the Competition Commission for the Funding of PhD Students' Activities, JU Doctoral Students and the JU PhD Students’ Council were guided by the availability of funds in the budget, the validity and amount of the cost estimate, the presence of additional sources of funding and other variables available for inspection in the Competition Regulations.
These are general guidelines followed by the Competition Committee and the TD JU Council, each case being discussed individually.
Due to the protection of personal data, the names have been replaced with an ID number.

Please note that the applicant is personally responsible for the timely settlement of the grant in the TD Office of the Jagiellonian University.

Invoices for scientific literature should be submitted to the TDUJ Office by November 30, 2020.
Only invoices for books purchased within the European Union can be settled. The invoice must be issued to the address of the Jagiellonian University. Please note that the applicant is personally responsible for the timely settlement of the grant in the TD Office of the Jagiellonian University.

Please read carefully the completed Settlement Rules available at:
