Dear PhD Students, We cordially invite you to participate in the 3rd edition of the Coimbra Group 3-Minute-Thesis Jagiellonian University Competition. The basic principle of this competition is to present the topic of your research work in the form of a 3-minute presentation in English that will be understandable to a non-specialist audience.

This competition is therefore an excellent opportunity to:
face off young researchers from various scientific disciplines in the art of presentation,
practice the skills of popularizing science and presenting a large scope of work in a concise, precise, and understandable way, so much needed in today's world.
The winners will be awarded prestigious prizes - research trips to universities constituting the Coimbra Group. In addition, the winner of the CG 3MT JU will be nominated by the Jagiellonian University to represent JU in the European 3-Minute-Thesis final organized by the Coimbra Group. Coimbra Group will then select the top three candidates to be invited to present themselves at the Coimbra Group's annual conference this year from June 7-10 in Padova, Italy. If the winner is invited to participate in the 3MT European Final, the Jagiellonian University will cover the costs of such participation
